I whipped this dip together last night and it was pretty decent, so here’s a post.
16 0z sour cream (I used Nancy’s Organic and really liked the texture of it)
4 oz shredded cheddar cheese (I found an awesome sage cheddar at the Honest Weight Food Co-Op cheese counter, it made this dip)
4-5 thinly sliced fresh chives
2 tsp dill
1 Tb dried chopped onion
1 Tb garlic salt
Splash of lemon juice
Scoop the sour cream into a bowl you can easily mix in and add all ingredients. Play with the amounts, if you think you need more salt, add it silly. Think of this as a starter recipe and do as you wish with it. Garnish with a fresh basil leaf and serve with chips or bread. I served mine with Food Should Taste Good chips, jalapeño along with sweet potato.
